Public opinion research

At Comms Hub, we believe that understanding public opinion is essential for pro-democracy and social justice movements to achieve their goals. We conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative research into the worldviews and attitudes of social issues to develop insights CSOs can readily use to design impactful communication strategies and targeted messages. We apply a strategic lens to research that segments audiences and tests messages to discern which communications resonate and why.

  • How is authoritarian activation reshaping our world and discourse on and offline?
  • How do ethnocentrism, hostile sexism, racism, and othering exacerbate the challenges confronting civil society?

Our research goes beyond simply measuring attitudes and opinions. We delve deeper to understand the underlying motivations and beliefs that shape public discourse. This approach allows us to uncover the “why” behind the numbers, providing valuable context and nuance to our findings. And we are working on leveraging digital research, social media listening, artificial intelligence, and quantitative and qualitative social science research to produce unparallel and applicable insights to build a future where democracy and human rights flourish.

By fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making, we work to empower pro-democracy movements to communicate with clarity, purpose, and impact.
