This study sheds light on an important issue: the lack of firm support for democracy among young people. While the study reveals that a worryingly small number of young individuals stand firmly behind their democracy, it also highlights an encouraging trend — many 18-39 year-olds express a desire to be actively involved in their neighborhoods and share values such as freedom, community, and equality before the law.
